On request we reserve seats for you on ÖBB's trains. The trains, for which this is possible or required, are shown in the electronic timetable. So that no one can dispute your right to your seat, reserved seats are specially marked on ÖBB's trains.

You will get personal seat tickets for the seats you reserved. These are valid for the train and on the day, for which they were issued, and only in connection with a ticket valid for the respective train, class and reserved route.

The purchase of a seat ticket entitles you to use the seat marked on the seat ticket. This entitlement, however, expires, if the seat is not taken within 15 minutes after departure of the train from that station, from which the reservation was made.

Orders for seat reservations can be made at the earliest three months prior to the departure date up to closing of bookings at all ticket counters. Any amount paid for unused seats is forfeited.

If you travel by Euronight train (EN). your ticket already includes a seat reservation.
