#Dream Job: How To Become A Luxury Travel Advisor
Working in the travel industry, people frequently confide in me that they have always dreamt of traveling the world for a living. For most, it’s a fleeting dream during a moment of hatred at their current jobs, something they would never actually figure out a way to do. But for others, the dream is real and more importantly, they have the drive to make it happen. One way to do it is to become a luxury travel advisor and they come from all business sectors: law, finance, beauty, fashion, media, education, and more. It is a job that Oprah featured as one of the “happiest jobs in America.”
Do you dream of making travel your job?
The growth in travel and tourism outpaces any other sector, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce, with a 7.2% growth rate and thousands of new jobs. But it wasn’t until I was at Virtuoso Travel Week surrounded by top luxury travel advisors and suppliers that I realized there is the poss

Vietnam has it all, and spending some days in the land of dragons and limestone mountains is always an experience and an unforgettable journey.
Apart from the highlights that Vietnam has to offer, the best part of this country is to be out on the streets. Walking around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Ho Chi Minh City’s Ben Than Market, Sapa’s terraces, Hoi An town, and trekking Vietnam’s numerous National Parks is what makes this country special. The really authentic experience is to go where the local community spends their daily life every day and this is what we at Khiri Travel Vietnam want to offer every traveler.
Living in Ho Chi Minh City (or Saigon), I must say that Southern Vietnam is

#Europe Travel Deals: With Euro Weakening, Americans Can Travel For Cheap As Dollar Exchange Rate Drops
The dropping euro and a more valuable dollar mean that Americans can get more euros to spend on what's most important: European beer. Reuters/Ints Kalnins
Seeing the Mona Lisa is a better deal now than it has been years. Americans and other foreigners can expect to land cheap trips to continental Europe over the next few months after the euro hit its lowest since March 2006 on Monday. That means Americans could get hundreds of more euros for their dollars than they did just a year ago, according to travel professionals.
“The euro is down about 10 percent to 15 percent from where it was most of 2014, so it's an instant discount for those of us with U.S. dollars,” said Roger Wade, founder of Price of Travel. “Many analysts are expecting the euro to continue going lower, at least in the short term, and if Greece effectively votes itself out of the euro soon, it could

#Find the lowest airfare for your next getaway
If you're going on vacation, there's a good chance you're going to fly. It's still the fastest way to go long distances, at least until Elon Musk comes through with a finished Hyperloop. or Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic gets sub-orbital rockets up and running.
Unfortunately, flying is expensive. That's why you go to great lengths to get the cheapest flight possible. And there are plenty of ways to do that.
You can book your flight early and make sure you're buying on the right day of the week. And you can make sure you fly on a day and time that traditionally costs less. You can also make sure you know which airline has the cheapest tickets. Click here for more on the best days and times to buy and fly .
However, in your rush to save, you might find that the "cheapest flight" isn't always the "best flight." I've seen this happen to many of my friends and family, and I don't want it to

#Egypt travel advice: is it safe to return?
With tensions easing, is it time tourists considered returning to Egypt? Richard Spencer reports
Comments
The magic of Egypt is still there. The palm trees swaying in a warm breeze as the Nile snakes through its green, desert-surrounded valley, the sun setting on the Temple of Karnak, the Red Sea and its bright shoals of fish: all have the same appeal as ever. But how easy is it to experience the magic, after the revolutionary chaos and death of the past few years?
This summer, I spent an idyllic four days recuperating from a busy year in the historic, and now beautifully restored, Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan. It was July, the lowest of Egypt s low season, with daytime temperatures hovering around 105F (40C), but that is how, perhaps unusually, I like it. It is a dry heat, unlike the sticky humidity of the Mediterranean coast, and it makes the cool of the swimming pool, perched on the hilltop overlooking the river

#Vietnam - Fit For Travel
Advice for All Destinations
The risks to health whilst travelling will vary between individuals and many issues need to be taken into account, e.g. activities abroad, length of stay and general health of the traveller. It is recommended that you consult with your General Practitioner or Practice Nurse 6-8 weeks in advance of travel. They will assess your particular health risks before recommending vaccines and /or antimalarial tablets. This is also a good opportunity to discuss important travel health issues including safe food and water. accidents. sun exposure and insect bites. Many of the problems experienced by travellers cannot be prevented by vaccinations and other preventive measures need to be taken.
Measles occurs worldwide and is common in developing countries. The pre-travel consultation is a good opportunity to check that you are immune, either by previous immunisation or natural measles infection.

#Find Cheap Worldwide Travel Insurance
Find the best travel insurance quote for your trip
Getting the right type of policy
Travel insurance is a must when heading overseas, but holiday insurance comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes, so it's important to make sure that you buy a policy that fits your needs exactly.
If you are going on holiday and buying a single trip travel insurance policy, it's easy to assume that worldwide travel is covered, but this isn't always the case.
Checking if you are covered for worldwide travel
Some travel insurance policies only cover the UK and European destinations. This will be useless if you twist your ankle on the Great Wall of China or you are bitten by a sand fly in the Amazon. So, while it may sound obvious, it's important to check that your policy covers your destination by reading through the terms and conditions before committing to a purchase.
You may also find exclusions in place in rela

#Fishing in Iceland - Fly Fishing in Iceland - Iceland Angling Travel
Written by Stjani. Posted in News.
Last year we took a group to the Thvera River for some early season salmon fishing for 4 days from June 16. - 20. We got some difficult days and the season turned out to be below average. This year we made the same trip to the same river and what a different trip it was making us really optimistic for the upcoming season.
This year we had a group of 10 German and Swiss anglers sharing 8 rods in total. We fished the Thvera River and the Brenna beat which is the lowest part of the Thvera. In 4 days the group landed 43 salmon, compared to 17 last year. Of the 43 salmon landed there were 32 MSW's and 11 grilse. We caught fish in all the beats and had many on the hitch. We also lost about 50 salmon as the takes were fierce and violent as per usual with fresh run salmon.
Overall we had a great time, had some wonderful food and enjoyed life at the wonderful Thve

#Gap Year Travel Insurance From MoneySuperMarket
If you are planning a year out abroad, perhaps between studies, before you enter your first fulltime job, or even just for a career break, you will need to take out gap year insurance before you set off.
Gap year travel insurance, which is very popular among students, covers travellers to be away for an extended trip, typically for around 12 months or more.
Gap insurance is different to annual (or 'multi-trip') travel insurance because, while this also provides cover for a whole 12 months, it usually imposes a cap of around 30-60 days on each individual trip.
So if you are off around the world or moving abroad for a short period, gap insurance is likely to be the travel insurance policy for you.
How does gap insurance work?
Gap insurance policies typically last for 12 months, but maximum cover can vary between insurers, so carefully check the terms and conditions of the policy to make sure it
