Harvard travelers are expected to seek lodging that is safe, comfortable and reasonably priced. It is strongly recommended that travelers book their lodging with one of our preferred hotels or through one of our preferred travel agencies. Supporting our preferred vendors enables us to negotiate better rates and amenities with increased usage.

Listed below are recommendations when making hotel reservations.

Club Quarters

Club Quarters are private hotels for the exclusive use of employees and guests of its member organizations in prime downtown locations. Harvard is a member of Club Quarters. Reservations can be made through Club Quarters directly or through one of our preferred agencies. Club Quarters has four room sizes for long or short stays.

Starwood Hotels

Harvard travelers can save 20 % at Starwood Hotels. Starwood Hotels include Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, St. Regis, Luxury Collection, Le Meridian, W Hotels, Westin, aloft and Element. Enroll in the Starwood Preferred Guest Program and save a 20% discount off of the Best Available Rate. This discount is available to all Harvard faculty and staff for both business and leisure travel.

Wyndham Hotel Group Hotels

Harvard travelers can save up to 20% at Wyndham Hotel Group Hotels. Wyndham Hotel Group includes Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Days Inn, Ramada Worldwide, Super 8, Wingate by Wyndham, Baymont Inns and Suites, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Microtel Inns and Suites, Howard Johnson, Travelodge and Knights Inn. The 20% discount off the Best Available Rate is available to associates of Harvard University for both business and leisure travel.

When visiting other colleges and universities, ask your host to recommend hotels at which they have negotiated special pricing for their guests. You can also find hotels with collegiate reciprocity on the Travel Portal by selecting Hotels from the Index on the left.
