Travel Indochina provided us with a great holiday with only two problems which need to be addressed

I have just returned from a trip up the Mekong on the Jayavarman. On boarding we were informed that a group of 36 Dentists were conducting a conference on board which meant that at some times areas of the boat were unavailable to us. We had no choice in sitting arrangements in the dining room and were required to sit at the same table each meal. I really feel that we should have been advised that a conference group was going to be on board at the same time as we would have chosen another date to travel.

On arrival in Ho Chi Minh city there was no letter informing us of arrangements for the get together so had to ring the office to get the details. Another problem was our booking at Raffles in Siem Reap - not sure whose error this was but there was no booking for us. I stood my ground and they finally found us a room but in the Smoking Section of the hotel - not pleasant! They didn t even offer us a free drink or coffee let alone a free dinner.

I suppose in the overall picture these were only minor problems but I feel they need addressing.
