Price Beat Guarantee

1. Price Beat Guarantee applies to all Economy class scheduled airlines that is available to the South African general public* from another high street travel agent, online travel agent** or travel agent call centre to any destination outside South Africa. Does not apply to prices from STA Travel’s own website. All travel must originate in South Africa.

2. Before booking the airfare, you obtain a printed confirmation of the competitor travel agent’s airfare quote on headed paper, or equivalent (i.e. print out of web page), complete with airfare travel dates, airline, number of passengers, price, including all fees and charges, availability, booking conditions and date of quote clearly shown. The guarantee is against the competitor's initial quote only. We will not enter into an ongoing negotiation on price after the first quote is bettered.

3. Visit an STA Travel store today or call 0861 781 781 on the same day you receive the quote. Email requests cannot be accepted unless following a phone or shop visit enquiry.

4. Show STA Travel staff the printed confirmation of the airfare quotes. For telephone enquiries you can fax or email the quote to your travel consultant following your phone call.

5. Where we believe there to be an erroneous fare displayed by a competitor or that the price offered is no longer available to book, we have one (1) working day (Mon-Fri) to investigate the pricing. If at this point we prove the price to be invalid/incorrect/unavailable the best STA price will be offered.

6. If STA Travel is able to confirm that airfare is still available to be booked as per the itinerary quoted, we will not only match the airfare but BEAT IT with a like for like *** option!

7. Full payment is required on the same day that STA Travel is able to confirm that the price is still available as per our competitor's quoted itinerary. Booking, payment, amendment and cancellation conditions will apply.

8. Price beats are not valid for group bookings (i.e. 10 or more passengers.)

9. If, for some reason, we are unable to beat a genuine competitor quote based on the conditions outlined - we’ll give you R 5,000 travel credit****
