So who are we?

We are JLM Travel, an independent travel agent based in Gateshead in the north east of England. Everyone who works at JLM Travel has a passion and that passion is finding the best deal on holidays for all of our customers. We talk to our customers the way we would want to be spoken to if we were on the other end of the phone. We do not have high pressure sales staff, we have a great bunch of honest, knowledgeable and experienced staff who want to be your first choice travel agent for all your future travel requirements!

And what do we do?

Here at JLM Travel we specialise in offering fantastic value, package holidays at quality hotels, apartments and resorts alongside excellent customer service. All our holiday have full financial protection by means of one or more insurance scheme and we also act as agents for tour operators who are ATOL holders.We are independent from tour operator’s which means we can offer a fantastic range of travel options along with independent, impartial and honest advice. We offer everything from flight only to short breaks in holiday resorts or cities to package holidays, cruises and tailor-made holidays.

Many of our staff have over twenty years individual experience and as well as our office staff we also have a small team of home based travel agents. We are open daily from 9am until 10pm including Sunday's and Bank Holidays but with the exception of Christmas Eve (reduced hours), Christmas Day (closed),New Years Eve (reduced hours) and New Years Day (reduced hours) so there is always a friendly member of staff just a phone call away. We are always on the look out for savings on holidays and have great relationships with the top tour operators, airlines and hotel operators and pass these savings on to you, our customers. Over the telephone we can offer you a low deposit and a payment scheme to spread the cost of your holiday out at no extra cost. Company Profile

JLM Travel started trading in June 2004 and we are proud to be members of the Hays Travel Independence Group which is owned and operated by Hays Travel – ABTA’s largest independently owned travel agents. Our directors have over forty five years combined experience in all areas of the travel industry from retail sales to senior management positions and are very much hands on, taking sales calls themselves as part of the team.

On the 1st June 2014 JLM Travel were ten years old (where have the years gone?) and we are still working on the same principal of when we started. We want to find you the best possible deal, give the best possibe service and all at the best possible price. Now apart from our founders going a little bit grey, we feel that nothing has changed from those early days and we have acheived this over the years and we recently asked Feefo to start independently asking our customers what they think about the service they received and as of 15th March 2015 we currently have an excellent 98% Service rating!
