Air Berlin tickets can be booked on the airline's web site. by calling the Air Berlin service center, on many travel websites and through your local travel agency.

Air Berlin offer tickets in these fare classes: FlyDeal, FlyClassic and FlyFlex.

Finding low priced flights on Air Berlin

The price difference between FlyDeal and FlyClassic tickets is usually small. The only difference between these two fare classes is that FlyClassic tickets can be changed.

The fee for changing a European FlyClassic ticket is 70.

Rebooking, change of name and cancelling tickets

FlyClassic tickets can be changed for a fee of 70 and by paying any fare difference. However, no refund is issued if a FlyClassic ticket for a European flight is not used or cancelled.

FlyFlex tickets can be cancelled with a full refund. These tickets can be rebooked by only paying the fare difference between the old and the new ticket.

Air Berlin baggage rules

One checked-in luggage item is included in the fare for FlyDeal and FlyClassic tickets. You can pre-book additional luggage items for 70 each. The weight limit for checked baggage on European Air Berlin flights is 23 kg. There is a fee per kilogram for any excess weight.

For all tickets classes, you can check in a maximum of five pieces of luggage.

You may bring one cabin baggage item with a weight of no more than 8 kg and measurements not above 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
