But I warn you that these run about $40 ON LINE (you can get a lighter compression (8-15) but I dont know if these would work. I have a swelling problem so I NEED to wear the stockings. but the tops of ANY compression stockings are not wide enough (the band on mine is about 1/2 ) so they do leave marks (goes away of course). If you go to a surgical supply store, the 15-20 will be closer to $70. But its very difficult to order on line and get the right size unless you ve been fitted properly. You could go to a surgical supply store and ask questions. You could even get them to fit you. and then say you dont know about spending the money. I wear Juzo. in STOCKINGS. either 15-20 or (what I relaly need (20-30). Any compression stockings need periodic adjustment (pulling them up, starting at ankles. Now, I am NOT a doctor, and I have no professional knowledge in this area. Your best best is to find a doctor that specialized in lymphedema, go, see if that s what your problem is. and go from there. what is the compression of the socks. perhaps knee-hi SOCKS are available. Fit is everything.
