The AA is offering a new cashback credit card to help motorists claw back some of the costs of the road.
The new FuelSave Credit Card pays 4 per cent cashback to drivers swiping their card when filling up, plus you clock up 0.5 per cent on all other spends.
As an extra sweetener, the deal also includes free annual MOTs for the lifetime of the card, plus drivers without existing AA breakdown membership will receive cover free for a year.
However, the card also comes with an annual fee of £42, which isn't far off the government-set maximum car MOT charge of £54.85.
