As travelers in the Retreat and Renaissance tour of Italy, my husband and I came to appreciate all of the dedicated hard work that Loretta put into organizing this amazing trip. We have done a lot of traveling on our own and we had some trepidations traveling with a group. Members came from all walks of life. She put each of us at ease with hugs, humor and excellent organizational skills.

Loretta arranged guided tours of Siena, Florence as well as a tasting tour of Florence. The guides were, without exception, excellent. They were knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. Loretta did extensive research to find the best and it paid off. My husband and I were part of the Retreat and Renaissance trip to Tuscany/Florence with Loretta and Clean Getaway Travel. Prior to signing up for the trip, we had ALOT of questions, but Loretta was so patient, understanding, and talked with us numerous times, answering all of our questions and concerns. She was always professional, organized, and attentive to all details before during, and even after our trip, with the consolidation of a memory photo album.

We traveled with a group of adults, many of whom we met for the first time at the start of the trip. But with Loretta’s expertise, this group of “strangers” made friends for a lifetime. The tours were very eclectic and there was a great balance of structured tours, free time. and group dinners at Tenuta San Carlo. We had tastings in Florence, a visit to the Palazzo Vecchio, Siena, Saturnia Hot Springs, and of course who can ever forget our visit to the Accademia Gallery with Michelangelo’s masterpiece of David!

Oh man, where do I begin to start on just how helpful Loretta has been in helping me plan my trips to Key West. I was lucky enough to stumble across her checking out a "too-good-to-be-true" ad on craigslist. Turned out it was a scam and I was lucky enough to figure that out before sending any money. But in doing my research, I came across Loretta and her travel company and thought that she might be able to help me out.

Not only did she find a place in an ideal location on the island (just one block off Duval Street), but she was able to get me a great rate for a full month being down there.

Now most travel agents would be content with that, but not Loretta, I honestly think she was more excited for me to get down to Key West than I was to go at times. Often I found myself asking if she was a real person because I had never found anyone that nice and eager to help.

Obviously heading to Key West I wanted to have a bike, but not a rental, I wanted a real Key West bike. Loretta found a bike for me and actually bought it before I got down there and I just paid her back. She also gave me a personalized list of her favorite food spots on the island as well as a couple of books on things to do in Key West. Oh, also she made arrangements to pick me up at the airport when I arrived, take me to the airport when I left, as well as shuttle some friends around when they came down to visit.

I'm not sure that AMAZING customer service is good enough to explain just how helpful Loretta is. She really makes you feel as though you have a life long friend that is helping to plan your trip. I still keep in touch and she still helps me plan trips to the Conch Republic. I can't wait to get back down to the Keys to catch up.

Key West. Sober. I couldn’t imagine it. But Loretta and Clean Getaway Travel made that happen. I discovered all the wonderful sober things Key West has to offer, the Butterfly Conservatory, snorkeling, the Ghost Tour, yoga on the beach, wonderful dinners with new friends. Loretta knows how to bring a group together and make it fun. I am so grateful to be able to vacation in clean and sober environment and have a heck of a lot of fun while I’m doing it. I just finished a tour with Loretta in Rome, with Clean Getaway Travel and I have to say Loretta picked some very, very, VERY good tours. We had wonderful tour guides who brought us through The Vatican, different places in Rome, the Coliseum, and we had a pizza tasting class that was really neat. I'd like to thank you for the generous amount of time and energy that you gave me while I was in Key West. I loved both of the condos at the Travelers' Palm Inn. They were charming with many amenities and Michel was delightful. I can't thank you enough for this little oasis inside Key West. Your personal touch of making sure I was cared for by checking on me made me feel safe and sound in an unfamiliar area of our country. I enjoyed going to an AA meeting on a bicycle in addition to being able to use the bike as the major mode of transportation. Very cool. I'm thankful you planned the dinner with Don and Nancy at the Fin. The food was excellent and the socializing was welcoming to me who was alone in a strange place. Lastly, thank you for your private escort to and from the airport. I came away from the experience thinking the next time I come to KW I need to stay longer. I want to tell you what an awesome trip I took with you on the Renaissance Tour. It was my first trip to Europe and I was excited and a little anxious. However, once we started to correspond and once I received the trip Itinerary for Tuscany, Siena and Florence, Italy I felt more assured, everything was so well planned and coordinated every step of the way, and sounded like all places I wanted to visit including fun, spontaneous trips we were taken on. Our tours within Florence were perfecto and tastings delicious, as well as the gelato enjoyed along the way! Two thumbs up for Loretta and Clean Getaway Travel. This was my first trip to Europe and Loretta walked me through all of the preparations for my trip. Upon arriving, Yup, she had a Mercedes and a gorgeous Italian driver waiting for me. We did all private tours which allowed us to get up close and personal with everything we did. Loretta picked the most perfect tours; I can say there wasn't anything that I didn't get to do or see. Loretta took good care of me and was so attentive to my off the agenda things I wanted to do. I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and expertise that went into organizing our "Retreat and Renaissance" trip! I enjoyed every minute of the trip and am still looking at all my photos with amazement on how well you pulled everything together. From the hotels in Florence and farm in Grosseto to the tours in Tuscany, every aspect was organized down to the smallest detail that would not only create a memorable experience but also created a group of wonderful friends for life.
