What is the cheapest airline? - Cheapest days to fly

So you all know what are the cheapest days to fly. but I have been getting a lot of emails recently asking me: What is the cheapest airline? This question isn’t a straight forward answer because flight prices change every day, sometimes even multiple times in one day.

The cheapest airline today can be JetBlue and tomorrow Delta. Finding the cheapest airline is totally dependent on you and how much time you want to spend comparing ticket prices of various airlines. What I can do is provide you with the airline that I usually fly with which is JetBlue. I usually choose JetBlue because I find the cheapest round trip, or one-way tickets with them.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying other airlines are cheaper, I just don’t like spending a lot of time searching for tickets so I tend to check JetBlue first and if the price is reasonable, I bite the bullet and purchase the ticket. I have flown in American Airlines before and I can say that the experience was not too bad and the ticket price was quite cheap compared to the other airlines, but maybe I had just gotten lucky.

All in all, what you should take away from this lengthy read for such a short answer is, take your time to find the cheapest airline that works for you. Generally airlines that offer a stop between you and your destination are cheaper but most people don’t like taking stops. I personally love taking stops because you get to explore a new area, even if it’s just for a little bit, but that’s a story for another day.
