Our Training team gives you the tools you need to get your business up and running and keeps you up-to-date with ongoing training. Agent Support can answer questions, provide suggestions and make recommendations when you are in need of support. The Supplier Relations team guides you through the process of establishing relationships with suppliers and provides agency-only specials for your clients, as well as booking contests and incentives for you.

Beginning your training is as simple as logging into your Travel Agent Portal and clicking on the “Getting Started” tab. Our Agent Portal has everything you need to put you on the path to success. Once logged in, you will find a wealth of information that has been categorized for you in easy-to-navigate topics such as Education, Marketing, Operations and more.

To help you through your initial training, we have put together a comprehensive Travel Agent Training Guide. This guide includes the basic information you need to begin your travel agent career, including Preferred Supplier information, sales techniques, marketing information, instructions on how to handle client situations and much more. All new agents receive a copy of the guide in their New Agent Kit.

To complement and enhance the written trainings, we provide you with a series of webinar recordings and “how to” videos. These videos include valuable supplier information to get you fully immersed in their products and services. The trainings also provide suggestions to help you promote and grow your new travel business.

Once you successfully complete our New Agent Program and pass the final assessment. you will receive a Certificate of Completion from our Training team to proudly display in your new home office.

We understand that some people like a hands-on approach to training and that is why we have created our New Agent Boot Camps. Boot Camp is our live training program that gives you the personal attention and tools to kickstart your business. These two-day events are held several times a year at the Corporate Office and are limited to 25 agents for a more intimate learning experience.

KHM Travel Group has found that agents who attend Boot Camp within their first 6 months start see faster results and higher earning potential .

Boot Camp is an opportunity that you do not want to miss if you are serious about your travel business. During each Boot Camp you receive answers from various KHM Travel Group team members and even the special Preferred Suppliers who are in attendance.
