Overseas Adventure Travel is part of the Grand Circle family. They specialize in small group tours for mature travelers. Land Adventures are limited to 10-16 passengers while Small Ship Adventures are limited to 16-25. The small group experience is essential to OAT. In addition to seeing the main attractions, OAT immerses travelers in the local culture by visiting small villages, family homes, schools, churches, and farms, something many other tour operators cannot provide due to their large group sizes. Experiences are enhanced by the expertise of OAT’s Trip Leaders, who are English speaking natives of each destination. Their knowledge of history, culture, and nature is reinforced by their passion for their homeland.

OAT makes adventurous travel comfortable by providing approachable yet engaging experiences for their travelers. With charming accommodations and approachable excursions, travelers need not be athletic or outdoorsy.

OAT specializes in tours for Americans over 50. Travelers should be comfortable with 3 miles of walking per day, standing for half hour increments, and 3-5 hours of daily physical activity. Some travelers may be interested in bringing grandchildren along. OAT requests that younger travelers be at least 13 years old.

Solo travelers can take advantage of the free singles OAT offers on each tour, or participate in the roommate matching program. The travelers' forum is also an excellent place to find possible companions for sharing accommodations.
