The pay is excellent if you are willing to work to stay proactive to close sales. Pretty casual work environment (jeans and t-shirt are acceptable). You get to talk about something that a lot of people really enjoy all day (Travel!). Steady work with plenty of overtime opportunity. Company does a good job marketing the product, so business is steady without having to cold call customers. The company offers a great product in their package tours, so it's nice to be able to stand behind the product. Cons Customers can be rude pretty frequently, but that's manageable if you've ever held a customer service type of job. The training is not extensive enough for you to be good at your job when you first start. (But management is pretty cool if you make a few mistakes when you're still acclimating to the job). 30 minutes for lunch is not enough. Mandatory weekend hours.
