Visit Israel's most famous places, such as the Dome of the Rock, with a tour group. (Photo: Jupiterimages/Photos/Getty Images )

With so many of Israel's cities and landmarks figuring so largely in the holy books of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, it's little wonder travelers from around the world flock to the "promised land." With so much to see, traveling in a group can be helpful; you won't have to worry about arranging transport or booking hotels, and you can rest assured that you'll see all the major sights.

A range of tour operators run programs catered to preteens and teenagers. Programs are often religious, though secular options exist, as well. The Israel Scouts program is an Israeli organization that provides summer camps and tours in Israel for foreign children and teens. They run one teen program, "Tzofim Chetz V'keshet," in cooperation with Israeli Defense Forces. The program includes extreme adventure and exercise, Hebrew lessons and group trips. Nesiya ... I want to go to Oahu Hawaii in mid May for a wedding. What airline or website provides the cheapest tickets ?

I am coming form California. Either Oakland or San Francisco which ever is cheaper. =]

It all depends on where you re coming from. If you re coming from the west coast, I highly suggest www.hawaiianair.com, as they re usually much cheaper than mainland airlines. If you re coming from somewhere midwest, or east coast, you can still save a couple hundred dollars by booking separately a cheap flight or bus ride to an airport that Hawaiian Air flies out of. If you put where you re coming from, I can help you do some research.

Travelocity and Orbitz price is $347.23 on Hawaiian Air. It s cheaper and more reliable to book through the direct airline (do it online!), and Hawaiian Airlines was #1 in customer service ^.^

It's time to rethink how you shop for airfare.

American Airlines and US Airways said Tuesday that they would pull flight listings from Orbitz. after being unable to agree on a long-term contract. American's fares have already been withdrawn, and US Airways' will be on Sept. 1.

We have worked tirelessly with Orbitz to reach a deal with the economics that allow us to keep costs low and compete with low-cost carriers, said Scott Kirby, president of American Airlines, in a statement.

It's not the first time airlines and booking sites have had a spat over listings — American pulled listings from Orbitz and Expedia in late 2015, reinstating them in 2015 after reaching a new contract with Expedia, and as part of an Illinois court ruling in the case of Orbitz. And it probably won't be the last dispute as airlines look to gain revenue, said Ed Perkins, contributing editor for SmarterTravel.

It costs the airlines a lot less to sell a seat directly on their ow ... Read more »

Looking out to sea from the Prudential tower at night.

The capital of Massachusetts and de-facto capital of New England. Boston is primarily known for three things: its academics, its sports, and its history. Its plethora of museums, historical sights, live performances, and a lively dining and shopping scene make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

Boston is one of the few old American cities that has managed to preserve a respectable chunk of its history, with buildings that pre-date the republic dotted across the city. But Boston isn't a city to dwell on the past; its culture is refreshed every fall by an influx of freshmen to its many universities and colleges. Harvard University (the country's first college) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology sit just across the river from Boston proper.

"Beantown" is also renowned for its sports heritage, with its four major teams—the Patriots, the Red Sox, the Celtics, and ... Read more »

  • Computer with Internet connection
  • Telephone
  • Discount cards Organization membership cards

Step 1

Explore online travel sites and mega-search engines. Kayak, Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity are just a few popular sites that allow you to compare rates on cars from multiple rental agencies. Search more than one site, as different sites offer specials at different times.

Step 2

Consider rolling your rental car into a vacation package. Many airlines, including juggernaut Southwest Airlines and legacy American Airlines, offer packages that include a flight, car rental and even hotel. Package savings can be significant.

A travel auction is a process that allows people to bid for travel packages. airfare, and/or hotel stays. There are many different online auction sites that offer discount travel through an auction format. Bidding can take place either over a few days or for a set time on a specified day. Most travel auction sites are open, meaning multiple bids from the same user are permitted.

The most common type of travel auction is the traditional English auction style, which uses an ascending price model that starts out at a low minimum and increases with every bid. Bids can go up by a pre-determined increment, or they can also go up based on each user's maximum bid price. Depending on the rules of the auction site, users can bid anonymously or with a registered username.

Another type of travel auction is a variation of a Dutch auction. Instead of prices starting at a high point and coming down, however, bidders submit their highest possible price to the auctioneers, who decide ... Read more »
