Where to score Black Friday travel deals

Everyone wants to get in on the consumer rush to purchase on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and travel companies are no exception.

Several hotels and booking sites — and even private jet charters — are offering deals beginning Friday.

Make sure to set a reminder if you want to take advantage of one of these deals. And when you book, check the fine print on taxes, any extra fees, and cancellation policies.

Airfares

Hopper fare alerts

Hopper is flagging airfares that are at least 20% lower than the flight tracking site's existing "good deal" in each market. When you click on a deal, Hopper shows the best price from when it first identified the sale, and the best that is still available.

About 80 significant fare sales happen every day but only last for a little while, according to Hopper.

ClipperJet

Private jet company ClipperJet is even getting in on discounts.

Anyone who signs up for the service between Friday, Nov. 29 and Wednesday, Dec. 24, will receive a $3,000 savings on the first three months of their membership which provides private transportation on Gulfstream IV twin-jet aircrafts between New York and Los Angeles.

ClipperJet is adding additional cities in the "near future." Anyone who signs up for a six-month membership between those same dates will get one free round-trip flight for a guest.

Hotels

HotelTonight

At 7 a.m. on Friday, last-minute booking service HotelTonight will have $7 hotel rooms in destinations in the U.S. and UK. The service will also have $70 deals available through Cyber Monday. To take advantage of the deal, you'll need to download the app.

Expedia

The booking site is offering $50 off hotel stays ($200 minimum) for travelers who a.) have never booked a hotel on the site before, and b.) download their mobile app. To take advantage of the offer, check out their website .

Pacifica Hotels in California

Pacifica Hotels is offering a 40% discount on rooms at 15 hotels all along the California coast. To take advantage of the sale, you must book between a second after midnight on Monday, Dec. 1 and 11:59 p.m. PT. This is a one-day-only sale available from a second after midnight to 11:59 p.m. Bookings must be for hotel stays through Mar. 12, 2015.

Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego

Daydreaming of warmer climates? San Diego's Hard Rock is offering rooms booked from midnight on Friday, Nov. 28 until 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday, Dec. 1 for stays through Jan. 11. The first five customers to book will get a complimentary upgrade to a rock star suite. Use promo code BF2014.

Hilton Hotels in Central, South America and the Caribbean

For customers booking Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, Hilton will have rooms from $89 + $50 credit (to be used on drinks, meals, spa services, golf, etc.) at properties in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Hilton Midtown and Waldorf Astoria in New York

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. CST on Dec. 1, until 11:59 p.m. CST on Dec. 7, Hilton New York Midtown will have rooms available starting at $179 per night, and Waldorf Astoria New York will have rooms starting at $229 per night. Stays must be between Dec. 1, 2014 and Mar. 31, 2015.

Loews Hotels

Loews Hotels Resorts are offering 20% off at select properties for travel through Dec. 31, 2015.

Howard Johnson

Howard Johnson hotels are offering if you book on Wednesday, Dec. 3, which the chain is calling "Orange Wednesday .

Triumph Hotels in New York

Triumph is offering a 30% discount at its six New York City hotels if you book on Cyber Monday. From 4 to 5 p.m. ET, there will be a 50% discount on premium and room suites.
