Visa Waiver Program

U.S. Travel champions policies that not only allow travel to thrive, but most importantly, keep it safe and secure. We strongly believe, as do an overwhelming majority of security experts, that the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) is a critical tool for strengthening national security—protecting the American homeland and public through individualized screening, global intelligence sharing, secure passports and regular audits of security standards of participating countries.

Surface Transportation Infrastructure

U.S. Travel urges Congress to enact a multi-year highway funding bill that includes House-passed provisions that will develop a national infrastructure strategy to enhance travel and tourism, and give travel leaders a seat at the table for transportation planning at the local, state and federal level.

New Research: Americans Creating the Next Generation of Work Martyrs

Project: Time Off's latest report, The Work Martyr's Children: How Kids are Harmed by America's Lost Week, asked kids ages 8-14 how they feel about their parents' work habits and what it means when they miss out on the quality family time vacation provides. The study found six in seven kids see their parents bringing work stress home. Further, six in 10 (59%) kids say they are upset when their parents miss events because of work. The good news is the answer to quality time is not out of reach. Sixty-one percent of kids say the way they want to spend quality time with their parents is on vacation.
