Primary Plan is a Group Health Benefit Plan, an individual health benefit plan or a governmental health plan (e.g. Medicare). NOTE: Medicaid and V.A. health plans do not constitute primary health insurance. The primary plan is not required to be through the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in order to be eligible.

IMPORTANT: Certain GeoBlue policies are filed as secondary coverage. However, GeoBlue administers and pays covered claims upfront in a primary manner.
