Thailand's Domestic Airlines

A number of new domestic carriers are promising cheap no-frills transportation around Thailand. At least one airline is offering a Great Escape to Nature scheduled and charter service.

Lets hope that these companies are able to start making enough money to continue their quest.

Thai Inter the national carrier of Thailand serves all major destinations except Koh Samui. Thai also serves numerous International destinations.

Nok Air Lets hope their creativity extends well past their appealing logo. Nok Air serves Phuket, Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Udorn Hat Yai from Bangkok. Nok Air shows a flight schedule, online booking, and FAQ.

Air Asia is apparently Malaysia based and serves Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Hadyai, Khon Kaen, Phuket, Ubon Ratchathani Udon Thani. They offer Air Asia offers ticket-less booking and features 1-way fares

PB Air serves some interesting destination from Bangkok. They include Lamphang, Nan, Roi-et, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Trang, Nakhon Si Thammarat.

SGA calls themselves a Great Escape to Nature . They operate light prop-driven aircraft on charters and at least one nature destination. They have been taken over by Nok Air and go under Nok Air Mini - SGA

Tiger Airways apparently does not fly any domestic routes, they are Singapore Airlines cheap seats carrier. Tiger Airways serves Bangkok and Phuket from Singapore. Beware of extra fees on luggage and flight changes that can add up pretty fast.
