It allows you to be seated next to another individual or have your own seat near a window without having to purchase a first class ticket.

On eight of their Airbus A380 aircrafts, the entire upper deck is comprised of business class seating. The leather designed seats are about 36 inches wide. Each seat comes with its very own 15.4 inch personal TV, a power outlet, iPod adapter, and 2 USB outlets.

There are a handful of meal choices that business class passengers have to choose from. The food is claimed to be so good that the culinary team for Singapore Airlines released their own book entitled “Above & Beyond: A Collection of Recipes from the Singapore Airlines Culinary Panel”. First Class & Suites

On the A380, there is an additional class of Suites, offering luxurious travel options in a personal cabin.

For First Class passengers, SkySuite seats offer a comfortable lounge seat reclining into a spacious bed, and a standard of service ensuring passengers arrive at their destination feeling relaxed and rested.

Economy Class

Economy Class seats have footrests and winged headrests to allow passengers to adjust the seat to their particular specifications. World class cuisine is served, along with complimentary beverages. Newspapers and magazines are also available.

KrisFlyer Frequent Flyer Programme

Singapore Airlines also operates the KrisFlyer frequent flyer programme - which has three levels of membership including KrisFlyer Standard, KrisFlyer Elite Silver and KrisFlyer Elite Gold. Benefits of membership include priority baggage handling and additional baggage allowances. PPS Club membership is also available exclusively to passengers travelling in First or Business class. This Club offers benefits including priority check in, lounge access and worldwide emergency assistance. A minimum number of points are required to be accrued each year to retain membership.

Singapore Airlines Lounges

Three lounges are operated by Singapore Airlines to ensure maximum comfort for the members of the frequent flyer program. The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, The Private Room, and the SilverKris Lounge are all located in the Singapore Changi Airport.

The SilverKris Lounge is the most exclusive and is a 24 hour operating lounge that offers members workstations, free Wi-Fi, conference rooms, dining areas, lounges, bars, and even shower facilities, all in a very relaxing, well-designed, world-class environment.

The Private Room is exclusively available to suite and first class travelers. The lounge facilities include a private room, dining services, a business center, and many other complimentary services.

In contrast to the SilverKris Lounge, the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge does not offer bathrooms or shower facilities. Instead, the lounge is designed for those traveling economy class and is available to Star Alliance Gold members throughout all airports.

Although there are 3 lounges within the Singapore Changi Airport, the SilverKris Lounge offers lounges in 15 other airports. When travelling aboard with an affiliate Star Alliance partner airline or subsidiary Singapore Airline company, you will get to experience the lounges in many other airports as you reach your final destination.
