Biennial December 31 every odd numbered year. On-time renewals for the licensing period of January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017 begins on Monday, November 9, 2015 and ends midnight (HST) Thursday December 31, 2015 Renewal postcard reminders for Travel Agency (TAR) will be mailed out November 6, 2015 All online renewals will need to be submitted through “MyPVL” at https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/mypvl To be guaranteed a pocket card by December 31, 2015 Renewals should be submitted by November 30, 2015 Failure to timely renew by the renewal date will result in the forfeiture of the license. After the renewal date, the forfeited license may be restored within 6 months and subject to meeting restoration requirements. Failure to restore a forfeited license within 6 months after the renewal date will result in the termination of the license and the person must apply as a new applicant and meet current licensing requirements. Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS. any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met.
