Step 1

Check your itinerary on a travel website. Several websites can give you your itinerary before you even leave the house. For example, ViewTrip allows you to enter your reservation number and provides you with your schedule, electronic ticket receipt and an expense receipt if you need it.

Step 2

Go to the website of your airline. Enter the reservation, confirmation or credit card number and you will see a screen view of your flight schedule. Print this out and take it with you or save it on your mobile phone or laptop screen for viewing later.

Step 3

Visit the website of a third-party ticket vendor. If you purchased your ticket through a site like Expedia or Travelocity, you can go to that site and check your flight reservations (as well as any other reservations you made) by entering your username and password or confirmation number on the website.

Head to the airport. If you are unable to access the Internet through a computer or mobile phone, you can go to the airport and view your reservations on the airline's kiosk in the ticket line. If you need to make changes, you can usually do this right there at the kiosk before you check your bags.

Call the airline. The airline's customer service can help you check on your reservations and tell you where your connecting flights will take you and how long you will have to layover in another airport if your flight is not direct. You can find your airline number on the airline's website or in the phone book. If the number is not in the phone book, call your airport and a customer service representative can direct you to the appropriate ticket desk.
