Cheaper / better to book hotel and flights separately?

We re looking for Christmas 2016, which a lot of the holidays and flights aren t out yet here, probably in the new year.

Flights to Barbados on Thomas Cook around this Christmas period are currently around £900 per person.

Jools1979, are you really able to get flights around Christmas at £319 return? This is not much more than the airport duty ,security charges, and fuel surcharges (if applied).

Could you actually be talking about offseason? How far ahead are you booking your flight? When do you travel?

I d really like to know as I d like flights at this price too.

BA is currently showing £646 in November 2017 which is the farthest ahead bookable on the BA.com website. Whether they will hold these prices for the peak season Xmas period would remain to be seen.

£646 would be probably be a good price if they make it available.

I think my original suggestion holds good, Janeyb_uk. Look out for flights as soon as they become available in January for flights around Xmas 2017
