#rail travel europe # Please select your departure timeSeat Reservations Only (All passengers have a Rail Pass ) To use a passholder fare you must hold a valid rail pass (the pass must be valid at the time of travel). The pass must also cover ALL countries for the chosen journey** WARNING: trains sometimes travel through countries other than the start and finish country, for example
Please check timetables if you think this may apply to your journey. 2nd class passholders can only purchase 2nd class passholder fares. **Eurostar Exceptions Eurostar passholder fares ONLY require one country to be covered (UK, France or Belgium) however please be aware that Britrail passes (UK passes) can only be validated in Britain - which means a Paris to London journey requires you to validate the Britrail pass in the UK first (Eurail passes don't need to be validated). **Glacier Express The Swiss Pass and Swiss Flexipass require compulsory seat reservations and cover the entire journey on the Glacier Express. Other Eurail passes that include Switzerland require a compulsory seat reservation and a point to point ticket (between Disentis and Zermatt/Visp/Brig). The additional point to point ticket between Disentis to Zermatt/Visp/Brig must be purchased because it is a private line and not covered by Eurail. Eurail Pass holders are entitled to a 25% reduction on the additional tickets on the Disentis-Zermatt section which are available under National Pass section.
