Major Airports in India

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (airport code BOM) in Mumbai is India s busiest airport. It s the base for Air India and a hub for Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air Sahara, Go Air, Spice Jet, Indigo and Kingfisher Airlines. There are two international terminals and two domestic terminals, but no indication of what you ll find in any of them. The website says the ground transportation options are taxis (both pre-paid and metered), three-wheelers, local transport buses and cars available for rent, but doesn t provide any information about any of them. There is undoubtedly an information desk or two which will be able to help you find anything you need in the airport.

Indira Gandhi International Airport (airport code DEL) is in the city of Delhi. It s the second busiest airport in India, after Mumbai.
