All-inclusive vacations for under $500

Since tracking all of the latest and best travel deals out there is part of my job, the fact that you can get some really amazing deals at all-inclusive resorts right now certainly has not escaped my notice. Pair a rough economic climate with fewer people traveling with hurricane season and you have the makings for some too-good-to-be-true sounding deals on all-inclusive vacations in Mexico and the Caribbean. In fact, Cheap Caribbean is offering up deals on some all-inclusive vacations starting at just $49 per person/nightand that includes not only lodging, but meals, beverages and activities too. All-Inclusive Resorts for $99 or Less

Once you ve picked your jaw off the floor, you ll be astonished again to hear that not only can you get rates at an all-inclusive for just $49/night, but your reservation in Cheap Caribbean also comes with weather-insurance, where you get $100 off coupon on your vacation if it rains. That s right, if it sprinkles even a few drops, Cheap Caribbean will give you $100 back off the price of your vacay. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

If you want to take advantage of some of these insane deals on all-inclusive vacations and head for Mexico, there is a great deal happening at the three-star Oasis Palm Beach and Spa Resort in Cancun right now. For travel between August 15 and December 20, you can get rates for as little as $49/night or book a 7-night Mexico vacation package with airfare for as little as $499 per person for travel between August 21 and November 30.

I tested Cheap Caribbean to find out if their deal was as hot as they claimed. I found that while booking my travel from my home in Portland, Oregon did add $150 per person to the package deal, I could still be enjoying a 7-night all-inclusive vacation in Cancun (including air travel and all food and drinks) for just $649 per person (based on double occupancy). I tested the fares through several dates and found this to be pretty consistent pricing through the upcoming autumn months.

Plagued by some bad PR this year (first drug wars in border towns, then Swine flu), counting all of the deals to Mexico right now would be like trying to count all of the hairs on your head. In fact, it seems that almost every hotel and resort is offering discounts, free nights or special resort credits through December. Many Mexico hotels have even teamed up and agreed to a flu free guarantee. which says that in the highly unlikely case you get H1N1 A during your trip, you get a free vacation every year for 3 consecutive years for the length of the original stay, as well as additional discounts (this offer almost makes hope I do get swine flu on my trip. What s a few days of feeling sick for 3 free vacations?).
