Student Travel Stipends

Student travel stipend application process will open in mid-Decmber.

ASMS sponsors a student travel stipend program to support Masters, Ph.D. or Undergraduate students. While still limited in number, ASMS has increased the number of stipends available. There are two stipend types.

• $300 Stipend in exchange for approximately 6-hour work shift at the conference (assisting with registration, oral and poster sessions, and employment center)
• $200 Stipend (no work shift)

No more than two students from a research group may apply. If more than two students from one group apply, only the first two applicants will be considered. If you have a large group, please coordinate with your colleagues so that only two students submit application forms.

Every applicant must be the presenting author on an abstract and the abstract must be submitted prior to submitting the application below.

In addition to these stipends. there are travel awards available for Undergraduate and Graduate students. View travel award details. Deadline for travel award applications is January 15.

Students are encouraged to apply for both; however, a student who receives a travel award will not also receive a stipend.
