With the state of the airlines and not to mention the world more people are buying travel insurance

Would I buy travel insurance? No but I am beginning to think that it is not such a bad idea. I am the kind of person who thinks that nothing is going to go wrong ever, and then I have to deal with it when it does. The only reason I have health insurance is because I have a daughter and to take myself off would not save me that much. The only reason I have car insurance is because liability is required by law and I have a nice car and I don't feel like buying a new one if I crash it and actually it is kind of irresponsible to not have car insurance. But should you buy travel insurance if you are taking a trip to Greece? Why not? It is cheap enough and there are a number of things that can go wrong that travel insurance will make a lot less painful.

Besides covering flight cancellations at a time when airlines are more unstable than ever (not that they will crash but they may go out of business) travel insurance also covers trip cancellation due to:

*Sickness Injury or Death*

*Weather conditions*

*Termination of Employment*

*Acts of Terrorism*

*Trip Cancellation Interruption*
