Golfing is a great vacation activity, but one of the difficult things about it is that you have to carry your clubs along with you during travel.  Whether you’re traveling by air or ground, your golf clubs need to be protected and a golf travel bag is the best way of doing so.

There are a few different options to choose from when selecting a bag and I’ll be covering them in this article.  Hopefully my tips will help you in your search for a new travel bag.

If you’ve done a bit of research already, you’ve probably found that golf bags can be quite expensive, often exceeding a hundred dollars.  If you’re beginning your search, consider that last sentence your warning.  A great bag is not going to be cheap, but there are options if you’re on a limited budget.

Most golf travel bag covers don’t have wheels do you’ll end up carrying it where ever you go.  This isn’t a problem if you have to carry it short lengths, like from the parking lot to your hotel room.  But if you have to carry something like this from the airport bag drop to a car rental office, I hope you have strong arms.
