Gary, of Watsonville, CA has wanted for a while to purchase a Travel Air 2000 with a Curtiss OX-5 or OXX-6 engine. A month ago he drove to northern Minnesota and purchased a project, a 1927 model 2000 NC1572, s/n 225. The project came with a OX-5 and a OXX-6 engine.
