"Wowed"

Dear travel friends,

I was only about 8 when I went there the first time.

It took 50 years but I made it back to the Black Hills of South Dakota this year. It was a “Wow!” experience. Let me share why.

Mt. Rushmore is one of our country’s best memorials honoring four of our exceptional presidents. The engineering feats to make the faces are remarkable. We got up close to animals like antelope, buffalo, donkeys and mountain goats.The mountains, needle like rock structures and towering pine trees were a wonder to gaze upon. This was just a sampling.

My wife and I were amazed, refreshed and excited to see these famous places. We were “Wowed”! How about you? Have you been “Wowed” lately?
