For our wedding anniversary, my husband and I used to go to Northern California and then Hawaii. For 2013, we decided to go to Europe.
I m the one who usually books the trips, (hotel, car, activities, food etc). Well, this time around, I was feeling so overwhelmed! Not only were we going to travel overseas, but we wanted to go to different counties. Since I ve never been to Europe, I had to research currencies, language, transportation, you name it!
I finally gave up and decided to book a tour. (Yeah, we had a chance we were going to get stuck with a group of retired folks, but better than a bunch of college kids. Contiki Tours).
My initial thought was to book with Trafalgar. I had every brochure you could think of. S

# GOA TOURISM
Goa, the land of beaches, is the smallest state in India and yet, arguably, the biggest tourist destination of the country. The beaches, the markets, the parties and the natural beauty of this land on the west coast of India is what mesmerizes everyone. Goa became part of the hippie trail during the 70s. Anjuna was the destination everyone headed to. Over the years though, Goa has become more hip than hippie. A blend of Portuguese and Indian influences, Goa’s unique history makes it a place much more than just beaches and parties.

Holiday in Greece
This summer may be the time to travel to Greece to explore the numerous coves, bays, peninsulas, soft sandy beaches along the beautifully blue sea. There are many jewels just waiting to be discovered by the more adventurous explorers. The country of Greece is a paradise for tourists who are interested in Art, culture and literature. Especially Rhodes, Athens and Crete has historic importance. Santorini is a specific place because of the high quality hotels for people who go for their honeymoon. The volcanic island has fabulous grey, black sandy beaches like Perissa Beach. Another island to visit is Mykonos which is often compared to Ibiza with it s great nightlife. Mykonos is also popular with it s whitewashed cubic houses, blue domed churches and splendid sandy beaches.

Ride the Rails in Greece
Although Greece has dramatically upgraded its rail infrastructure, it s wise to travel only on the major lines. Though safe, the local rails remain slow and tough to navigate (especially for the neophyte). Exceptions? Very touristy routes like Athens to the port city Piraeus (only 20 minutes by suburban train).
We recommend the InterCity or InterCityExpress trains. From Athens, you can journey to the very hip city of Thessaloniki (check out the fashion and the food) and onwards towards Katerini (home to several archeological digs). From there travel to ancient Corinth in just ninety minutes, and then to the port of Patras. Final destination? Argos, arguably Greece s oldest city, and the ruins of the Heraeum temple where the goddess Hera was revered.
Most IC and ICE trains offer decent comfort in second class, but first class is still preferable (except on very short journeys). On longer trips, on-board f

# Lastminute.com sold for fraction of its 2005 price
Lastminute.com, the travel site that became one of the best-known names of the dotcom era, has been sold for a fraction of the price it fetched almost a decade ago.
Bravofly Rumbo, a European online travel agent, will pay 76m ($120m) to Sabre, the US owner of Travelocity, which paid 577m for Lastminute in 2005.
Brent Hoberman, who founded Lastminute “in a broom cupboard” at the back of an office in Portobello Road in London in 1998, banked about 26m from the sale, while co-founder Martha Lane Fox pocketed almost 14m.
Sabre indicated in August it wanted to sell the business to focus on its core technology operations, which handle more than a third of the world’s travel agency transactions.
Lastminute focuses on the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy and generates revenue of more than €260m ( 206m) annually.

#great travel deals
# By Jessica Mele | Submitted On December 13, 2007
If you have been dreaming about your next vacation, but just don't think you can afford it, you will be very surprised. It is very easy to find great travel deals that won't break the bank! All you have to do is know what to look for, and you will find that you can save money and still go on the vacation of your dreams.
One of the most important things to think about when looking for a great travel deal is when you want to go. For example, if you want to go away during Christmas week, it will almost always be more expensive then going at almost any other time of the year. If you want to go to a Caribbean island in the middle of the cold winter, you will most always pay more then if you go at another time of year.
This leads to the second thing you need to think about. Where do you want to go? There are some locations that are just more inexpensive to travel to than others. Las Vegas f

Wherever you step in Greece, you’re treading gloriously historic ground—right in the footsteps of the Minoans, the Ancient Greeks, and other astonishing cultures. Tourist attractions are many and varied, and include the Acropolis of Athens, the Mycenae Lion Gate, and majestic Mount Olympus—abode of the gods. The Greek Islands, meanwhile, are a destination in and of themselves—internationally renowned for their gleaming beaches and exuberant nightlife. Cruising the sparkling Mediterranean amid these archipelagos introduces you to some of Europe’s most transcendent scenery.

- Utopian Literature
Gulliver s Travels is a fantastic adventure--with unusual people and places. This classic tale is a political satire, as Lemuel Gulliver ventures on his four travels. Here are a few quotes from Gulliver s Travels . by Jonathan Swift.
- I attempted to rise, but was not able to stir: for as I happened to lie on my back, I found my arms and legs were strongly fastened on each side to the ground; and my hair, which was long and thick, tied down I the same manner. I likewise felt several slender ligatures across my body, from my armpits to my thighs. I could only look upwards, the sun began to grow hot, and the light offended mine eyes. I heard a confused noise about me, but in the posture I lay, could see nothing except the sky.

Gulliver's Travel is hands dow.
by kmonday on 06/21/2012
Gulliver's Travel is hands down the most helpful and caring travel agency in Saint Louis. All of their agents are very well-versed in the world of travel and most of all compassionate about what they do, making the decision to book with them a no-brainer. From the moment we started thinking about locations for our honeymoon, Amanda Reeves was there with suggestions, tips, information and pricing for places she thought we would really enjoy. Although we took our honeymoon a whole 7 months after the wedding, Amanda made sure to communicate with our resort in Jamaica that we were honeymooners and made sure we were treated as such. I can without a doubt say that I will NEVER book a vacation without the help and expertise of this agency and will recommend them to anyone looking for a trip of a lifetime.
I recently just booked Trip #7.

December 10, 2013 by Beat of Hawaii
Finding Hawaii car rental deals, like airline Hawaii travel deals. is becoming more of a challenge. That is especially true given the recent consolidations in the industry. Here are our updated recommendations:
How I just saved $400 on my next Hawaii car rental
Car rentals for Christmas in Hawaii are the most challenging as you may already know. Rentals are either very costly or can be sold out. I needed a car for four days right before Christmas and faced the harsh reality of rentals averaging $150 per day plus tax. Unwilling to pay that price, and nearly ready to jump to Uber (which is now in Honolulu), I started scouring. I was able to immediately lower the price by 50% by

She loves Gulliver and he is then bought by her and kept as a favourite at court. The farmer's daughter, Glumdalclitch, becomes a member of the Queen's court as Gulliver's nurse.
The King and Queen of Brobdingnag love Gulliver. but the Queen's dwarf is very jealous because the queen is now more fond of Gulliver. # Gulliver's Travels Summary
Gulliver goes on four separate voyages in Gulliver s Travels. Each journey is preceded by a storm. All four voyages bring new perspectives to Gulliver s life and new opportunities for satirizing the ways of England.
The first voyage is to Lilliput, where Gulliver is huge and the Lilliputians are small. At first the Lilliputians seem amiable, but the reader soon sees them for the ridiculous and petty creatures they are. Gulliver is convicted of treason for making water in the capital (even though he was putting out a fire and saving countless lives)--among other crimes.
The second voyage is to Brobdingnag, a land of Giants where Gulliver seems as small as the Lilliputians were to him. Gulliver is afraid, but his keepers are surprisingly gentle. He is humiliated by the King when he is made to see the difference between how England is and how it ought to be. Gulliver realizes how revolting he must have seeme

# Southwest dodges engines that search low fares
Email | Print | Text size + By Bruce Mohl
Globe Staff / July 24, 2005
In the race for supremacy among travel search engines, there is one obstacle that none of the companies have been able to overcome.
Southwest Airlines. the top low-cost carrier in the nation, refuses to participate. It will not allow its fares to be compared with those of its competitors on any third-party consumer website.
''When you get into a display with other carriers, there's really no opportunity to display all the options available to the consumer," said Jill Howard-Allen, manager of interactive marketing at Southwest.
Without Southwest's participation, none of the emerging travel search engines, including Sidestep, Kayak, Mobissimo, and Yahoo's FareChase, can lay claim to being a definitive resource in tracking down the best air fare.
Southwest's absence is also a hindrance for consume
