National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car offer discounted rates for Northwestern faculty/staff for both business and personal use. Eligibility requirements are listed at the bottom of this page.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

There are 3 different ways to rent a car with Enterprise:

• Book online using Orbitz for Business (Learn more about using Northwestern's Orbitz for Business website)

• Use one of Northwestern's approved travel agencies

• Book through the Enterprise website or by phone (visit the Enterprise Rent-a-Car page for link and corporate codes).

Car Rental Policies and Procedures

Important information for Northwestern travelers who rent cars:

If you rent a car from National or Enterprise using the Northwestern contract/discount ID, you do not need to purchase a Collision/Loss Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW), except for international rentals. (Note: If you do purchase a CDW/LDW for a domestic rental using the Northwestern contract/discount ID, it will not be reimbursed.) Learn more about this and find out what to do if you have an accident involving a rental car. Documents, including proof of insurance, are typically found in the glove compartment of cars, but please confirm with rental company employees before leaving location.
