Purchase Travel Protection Insurance. You will find many that will cover you for Terrorist Acts, as well as Travel Delay and Trip Interruption. Under one policy s Terrorist Acts verbiage, you are even covered if that act occurs within 30 days of your scheduled departure. Not to mention the other valuable coverage such as Emergency Medical Expenses and Emergency Evacuation or God forbid, Repatriation of remains.

I have a great relationship with the representative of our preferred Travel Insurance Carrier and I ve already been in touch with her about this new Paris attack.

Leave your itinerary with someone along with my contact information! It will make them feel better to know where you are if something like this terrorist attack in Paris happens, but also if there is a family emergency back home.

Enroll in the STEP program. The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

Help family and friends get in touch with you in an emergency.

Know where the closest Embassy or Consulate is. The majority of my clients are from the United State, but I m also going to list a link for Canada as well.

I firmly believe that God has given us a wonderful tool that we don t use often enough and that is our GUT FEELINGS. God gave us that intuition and over the years in our safe little environments, we have let it get rusty.

When we get that little feeling that something is OFF , we often discount it, saying we are JUST BEING SILLY .
