We have just returned from a Week in Jordan. I found the company extremely efficient and helpful in dealing with my booking. We we met at the airport and transferred to our hotel by a very nice guide who spoke excellent English.

I travelled with Exodus last year on their Atlas.

My husband and I booked Walking in Madeira with Exodus.

Exodus Travels is always grateful for any form of feedback and we did respond to these concerns earlier last year when they were raised. We were sincerely sorry to hear of this customer's accident however we do feel our leader gave ample warning of the risks involved in this particular section of the walk.

br/ After discussions with other members of the trip we are confident that the leader's briefing was sufficient, and all previous groups have received the same advice without issue. The advice was that trainers would be adequate for that day but poles were also suggested if they were normally used to hike with.

br/ The signage at the base of the peak is clear and unambiguous that access to the peak is difficult and has resulted in some injuries which is why guides are no longer able to escort groups of clients to the top. Our leaders advise clients why they cannot accompany them and make sure they are aware of the risks involved and anyone who did not feel happy climbing this additional section were able to remain at the base of the peak with the leader.

br/ This is one of our most popular European walking trips and all concerns are investigated thoroughly.
