We know how important your holiday is and all our administrative staff and drivers try that little bit harder to make sure everything goes exactly as planned.

Your Drivers

Once you have booked your holiday, just sit back and let us take care of the rest. Whether you are collected on one of our 'Door To Door' collection holidays or from a Local Departure point, your driver will take care of your luggage and transport you onwards to your holiday destination.

Most importantly, on a Star Travel holiday your driver is there to help from the start. You will find them very approachable, be able to answer most questions and will point out places of interest along the way. They will do their best with any requests. Above all, they want you to have a great holiday.

Company History

Starting in Outwood, Wakefield, Star Travel was established in 1982 by directors Kevin and Debbie Thorpe. Moving to our current premises in Queen Street, Horbury in 1998 where we opened our first Star Travel Coach Holiday shop, the following year saw the buy out of Middlestown based Barry Todd Coaches and a merger of the two followed. Star Travel has continued to expand ever since with the opening of a second Coach Holiday shop in Morley.

Star Travel own and operate a fleet of luxury executive vehicles ranging from 16 to 48 seaters and a 42 seater Royal Class Coach.

We have built up a large selection of coaching operations which include contract hire, local service routes, private and corporate hire to our own coach holidays. We have been at the forefront for excellent value for money coach travel and have built up a first class reputation of service, reliability and safety.
