Meals

In China, all tourists tend to eat at the same restaurants in each city due to various reasons (hygiene, service, tailored to the needs of tourists). China in reailty is a country with a great variety of food. We value the feedback from our returned clients and have added a speciality lunch in each major tourist city for our group tours. We believe we are the first in this country to do so. We will make sure you try of China's traditional dishes, which are truly a work of art, and you are fully satisfied with them.

Tours

Our group tours have been designed to take in certain areas at the best time of year, and you'll enjoy our China tour packages with small groups of like-minded travellers. Once we have a minimum of two persons booked on a tour, we will not cancel due to low numbers, and our tours cost less than booking through other UK tour operators.

We create exclusive holidays and tours to China, with specialist tour guides and accommodation to suit your taste and budget. Some of our holidays are slightly more expensive than the cheapest tours on the market, yet they offer a more authentic experience of China, with smaller groups, stays in city centre hotels, and an itinerary packed with interesting activities.

Responsible travel

At China Direct, we realise the importance of responsible travel to China, and have taken several measures to ensure our China holidays are as ethical as possible, while still letting you enjoy the natural beauty and spectacular scenery of the country.

We don't arrange tours to sites that have been recently developed by the forceful use of farmers' land and people's homes. No visits will be made to nature reserves that are not supposed to receive huge numbers of tourists. We don't accept invites or arrange tours to areas that might disturb the habitats of endangered species or the environment, so you can be assured your visit won't cause harm.
