On April 15, 1926, Charles Lindbergh, Robertson Aircraft Corporation s chief pilot flew a bag of mail in a DH-4 biplane from Chicago to St. Louis. This flight is regarded as the first regularly scheduled flight of what was to become American Airlines. A big fleet flies passengers to over 250 destinations throughout the Americas. International flights must check in at least 60 minutes before departure while travelling within the U.S. you must check in for your flight at least 30 minutes before departure.
